The “Dresden Promotion” is valid on all Koleje Dolnośląskie (KD) passenger trains and on trilex and trilex express Länderbahn (DLB) trains. To use it, you must begin your journey in Poland, on one of two routes:
- Wrocław Główny – Dresden (via Legnica, Zgorzelec and Bautzen) Legnica – Dresden | Bolesławiec – Dresden
- Jelenia Góra – Dresden (via Gryfów Śląski, Lubań Śląski, Zgorzelec and Bautzen)
How much does the ticket cost?
Whether you are travelling to Dresden on your own, with family or with friends, take advantage of the Koleje Dolnośląskie offer. Choose your starting station on the route from Wrocław Główny or Jelenia Góra and save with KD ticket offers. You can choose tickets valid for 1, 2 or 14 days.

You can also take a dog, bicycle or luggage to Dresden Hbf. Simply purchase an additional ticket for transporting a dog/bicycle/luggage with your current ticket, according to the table below:

It is also possible to purchase a single-use ticket (if the passenger intends to transport a bicycle/dog/luggage one way) for PLN 10.
Where can you buy a ticket?
Tickets can be purchased:
- directly on kolejedolnoslaskie.pl (except for routes from Zgorzelec and Zgorzelec Miasto stations),
- via the e-Podróżnik system (except for routes from Zgorzelec and Zgorzelec Miasto stations),
- at all Koleje Dolnośląskie ticket offices and Koleje Dolnośląskie Customer Service Offices,
- on the train from a Koleje Dolnośląskie conductor,
- at all POLREGIO ticket offices.
Advance ticket sales for the “Dresden Promotion” open 14 days in advance.
WARNING! On direct trains from Zgorzelec to Bischofswerda and Dresden Hbf, tickets under the “Dresden Promotion” are not available for purchase; only tickets under the “Dresden-Wroclaw-Spezial” offer of Die Länderbahn GmbH – DLB can be purchased).
How can you purchase a ticket under the “Dresden Promotion” offer in the KD Shop?
- On www.kolejedolnoslaskie.pl, select the departure and destination stations and departure time
- Choose the connection that suits you from the list and click “Buy ticket”
- Specify the remaining ticket parameters, e.g. applicable discounts.
- Enter the passenger’s details and email address.
- Choose a payment method and complete the purchase.

WARNING! When using the “Dresden Promotion,” remember that, depending on the selected connection, you change to a train operated by a German carrier at Zgorzelec or Görlitz station. At the transfer station, passengers can change trains smoothly. The connections are coordinated so that you can change trains safely without having to wait long to continue your journey.
You can obtain information about the transfer station from the conductor, at a Customer Service Office, at ticket offices, or via the KD Shop, the Koleo ticketing system or E-podróżnik.

Starting your journey in Dresden?
If you begin your journey at Dresden Hbf station on the Germany–Poland route and do not have a “Dresden Promotion” ticket purchased in Poland for travel to Poland, you can purchase tickets under the “Dresden-Wroclaw-Spezial” offer. Tickets are sold by:
- ticket offices of the German carrier Die Länderbahn GmbH,
- ticket offices of the German carrier Deutsche Bahn,
- conductors on trilex and trilex-express trains departing from Dresden to Görlitz and on direct Dresden Hbf–Zgorzelec trains.
