Last Thursday, a resident of the town reported to the District Police Headquarters in Lubań that after he reprimanded a 45-year-old man over improper parking, the man began threatening to kill him and destroy his property. In addition, the aggressor clearly demonstrated that he had a firearm by showing the contents of a so-called belt bag.

The police immediately intervened and went to the area where the incident had occurred to arrest the suspect.

Officers: – During the operational activities, the man's whereabouts were established. The officers arrested him.

Because the suspect was wearing different clothes from those he had previously been seen in, criminal investigators demanded that he show what he had been wearing earlier. Headquarters: – He was storing the clothing and a belt bag in a nearby garage. It was inside the bag that the weapon was found. A preliminary examination established that it was a gas pistol equipped with a magazine for metal pellets.

The man was arrested and taken to the police headquarters. After he was charged, the prosecutor ordered that the 45-year-old be placed under police supervision and imposed a restraining order prohibiting him from approaching the injured party or contacting him in any form.

The suspect faces up to three years in prison.
