HOMAR-K launchers—what kind of equipment are they?
The HOMAR-K system is based on South Korean multiple rocket launchers (K239 Chunmoo), adapted to the needs of the Polish Armed Forces and capable of launching several types of guided missiles.
The launcher is equipped with two rocket pods, which can hold two types of rockets. Depending on the ammunition used, each pod can hold either 6 guided rockets with a caliber of 239 mm and a range of 80 km, or 1 guided tactical rocket with a caliber of 607 mm and a range of 290 km.
The HOMAR-K, equipped with the Polish ZZKO Topaz fire-control system and mounted on a Jelcz P882.57 TS T45 8×8 truck, is a key element strengthening Polish artillery.
