On Thursday, April 21, an initiative titled “World Earth Day – A Day for Nature” will take place in Osiecznica. During the initiative, the Youth Firefighting Team operating at the local Volunteer Fire Department will clean up the geological trail along the Kwisa River. The MDP will assume patronage over the area, and its members will become Guardians of Nature (they will receive a symbolic key from Irena Słonecka, the organiser of the initiative). What is more, on that day Adam Goździk, deputy head of Węgliniec Forest District, will give a talk on environmental protection.
The organiser thanks the sponsors of the initiative: Powiat Council member Jan Kozak, Kliczków Castle and Aneta and Wojciech Myszakowski (Gościniec Kliczków guesthouse), as well as the Youth Firefighting Team.
