Officers from the Police Station in Kruszyn identified the suspect who ignored an order to stop for a traffic check issued by officers from the Bolesławiec traffic police.
The man, who is subject to a lifetime driving ban, drove a car into the Warta Bolesławiecka municipality. When police officers began taking action to carry out a check, the man ignored the light and sound signals, believing he would manage to avoid responsibility.
However, the officers’ detailed findings confirmed that he was the person who had failed to stop for the check. The reason for his conduct was the lifetime driving ban imposed on him in 2022 by the District Court in Złotoryja.
The man had previously been convicted, and as a repeat offender he faces up to 7.5 years in prison.
