We previously wrote about the problem of parking a car in the water park car park on Spacerowa Street in the article Chaos at the new swimming pools! No space on the road or in the car park, crowds at the facility. Readers were concerned that they would receive fines for parking on the green area in front of the facility.
The Municipal Police in Bolesławiec informed us that during the holiday period it always conducts increased checks in sports and recreational facility areas as part of preventive measures aimed at maintaining public order.
– We also began such activities on Monday, 30 June, at the new swimming pools on Spacerowa Street – Kamila Chalewicz-Pudłowska reports. – In connection with these checks, municipal police officers have not issued fines for parking on the grass. We would like to point out that, due to the enormous interest in and attendance at the water park, and in response to the expectations of residents and people using the facility, the Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre has made additional parking spaces available for visitors. If there are no spaces available, the City of Bolesławiec is also making the area in front of the facility available for this purpose. Furthermore, we inform you that next week the Bolesławiec City Hall will announce a tender for the implementation of the second stage of the OWS expansion, including the construction of additional parking spaces at this location – adds the commander of the Municipal Police in Bolesławiec.
