On Monday afternoon, punctually at 4:00 p.m., a quiet but exceptionally determined raid began on the pitch of the modern municipal stadium in Bolesławiec. The main character was... an automatic mower which, like a robot from science-fiction films, set off on its green mission.
It emerged from the right-hand side—without fanfare or flashes—but fully aware of its task: the pitch was supposed to look like a lawn from a catalogue. With grace and composure, without rushing too much (because why would it?), it began a many-hour adventure.
From 4:00 p.m. to 9:10 p.m., this green warrior continuously cut the grass, turned, doubled back and trimmed every blade with surgical precision, as if preparing the pitch for a Champions League final—or at least a County League match.
And at 9:10 p.m., it completed its mission and returned to its place to recharge its batteries. Nobody had to tell it to “return to base”—it simply knew. It ended the day where it had begun it.
The stadium in Bolesławiec not only gleams with its newness, but also boasts grass trimmed so evenly that—wow.
