From July 4 to 6, 2025, inspectors from the Lower Silesian Road Transport Inspection continued operations targeting inspections of vehicles violating bans on the movement of heavy goods vehicles.
The result? The Inspectorate reported: – From Friday afternoon through Sunday, 21 vehicles were inspected; in 4 cases, the drivers had violated the weekend ban.
On the weekend, inspectors also inspected 8 coaches as part of the Safe Coach – Holidays 2025 campaign. No irregularities were found in any of the cases.
The Lower Silesian Road Transport Inspection sums up:
The drivers of heavy goods vehicles were less “fortunate”: not only did they violate the bans, but numerous violations of social regulations concerning driving time, breaks and rest periods were also found.
Moreover, these road users also violated regulations concerning tachograph operation. The Road Transport Inspection reported: – Drivers who violated the movement ban had to wait in a parking area until the ban ceased to apply.
