Construction of the parking hub on the green square by the railway station will begin in a year, with completion planned for the end of 2028.

– A transport hub with accompanying infrastructure is planned on the site where Światowid stood. Bus and coach bays will be built, as well as a car park for passenger vehicles and a multi-level garage for passenger vehicles. The project is scheduled for 2026–2028 and appears on the list of ZIT ZOF projects—the Integrated Territorial Investments of the Western Functional Area—reports spokesperson Agnieszka Gergont.

The paradox of the transport hub in Bolesławiec is this: we need somewhere to park our cars in order to get to work, but this construction will destroy another green part of the city, resulting in less oxygen and greater environmental pollution. In short: wanting to improve our quality of life, we will definitively worsen it by covering the green area with concrete—something whose effects we feel particularly during increasingly hot summers. That is a very high price.
