Since 1 July, a permanent police station has been operating at the border crossing in Zgorzelec. Police activities are conducted in close cooperation with the Border Guard, whose responsibilities include controlling border traffic and counteracting illegal migration. The Police, meanwhile, focus on ensuring residents’ safety and preventing crime.
