This morning, a meeting was held between Prime Minister Donald Tusk, Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and representatives of the Border Guard. During the meeting, the need to temporarily restore controls at the borders was discussed. This is linked to the problem of illegal migration and the growing sense of insecurity.
As Donald Tusk explains: We have decided to introduce temporary controls at Poland’s borders with Germany and Lithuania. The decision was made today, and the new regulations will come into force on Monday, July 7.
