Reader: “We are writing to you because we are outraged by this matter and cannot simply leave it as it is. A week ago, while returning home from Bolesławiec, past Mrówka, on the road to Chościszowice, a box containing five puppies had been dumped on the roadside. All the puppies are female, approximately seven weeks old.
She adds:
Dehydrated, hungry and left in the heat, covered with a cardboard box, they were doomed to a slow death! We took the little ones home and cleaned them up. We took them to a vet. All the puppies were vaccinated, dewormed and given health booklets.
And concludes: – We kindly ask for help in finding homes for them. Contact (...).
Abandoning an animal is a crime punishable by up to five years in prison.
