Modern unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) technologies are increasingly supporting rescue, crisis-management and operational activities. The center aims to develop the competencies of uniformed services in the safe and professional use of drones in practice, and in the future also to design and manufacture dedicated technological solutions.
“Drones are already an indispensable support for rescue and uniformed services. Our Lower Silesian Drone Center is to provide knowledge, training and technologies that translate into tangible results in real-life situations,” emphasized Wojciech Gęstwa, President of the Lower Silesian Innovation and Science Park.
The aim of the Lower Silesian Drone Center is to create a space for the development of modern drone technologies in cooperation with uniformed and rescue services and public administration.
