The stadium on Spółdzielcza Street in Bolesławiec is a modern athletics and football facility adapted to the needs of the local community and sports clubs. The opening of the renovated stadium was a grand ceremony. The stands were filled with well-known residents of Bolesławiec and invited guests: politicians, local-government officials, councillors, directors of municipal and county institutions, and businesspeople.
Those attending the stadium opening included: Łukasz Molak (a councillor of the Impuls Lokalny City Council), PiS deputy head of the City Council Dawid Sarbak (a mayoral candidate), and his party colleague, councillor Rafał Więcewicz. Also present were: Joanna Dudyńska (a Forum Miasta councillor), councillor Stanisław Wiącek (Forum Miasta), and Urszula Magryś (a Civic Platform councillor). Nearby sat Grzegorz Przybylski (a Civic Platform councillor and candidate for mayor of Bolesławiec in the most recent election) and Mariusz Potyszka (a city councillor from Trzecia Droga), as well as Renata Fredyk (second deputy chair of the Bolesławiec City Council, Forum Miasta). Also present was Maciej Małkowski (the current head of the County Council from Impuls Lokalny, he ran twice in elections for mayor of Bolesławiec), together with his wife Małgorzata Małkowską (a former TV Łużyce journalist; the station belonged to Jan Cołokidzi and no longer exists today).
Also present were Krzysztof Basiak (president of MZGK in Bolesławiec), Dorota Basiak (deputy head of the Education Department in Bolesławiec), deputy mayor Robert Rzepnicki, Katarzyna Reguła director of PCEiKK, Anna Idkowiak (director of the Knowledge Centre and Municipal Library), and Kornel Filipowicz (director of BOK–MCC), Mirosław Sakowski (director of II LO), and Jacek Jurkiewicz (director of ZSB).
Businesspeople attending included: Henryk Guzik (head of Hemax) and Jan Cołokidzi (businessman), with Małgorzata Cołokidzi (headmistress of the primary school in Brzeźnik), and Andrzej Udzielak (owner of AMMA).
The stands were also occupied by Jan Filipek (a Solidarity activist and honorary citizen of Bolesławiec) and Józef Pokładek (long-serving head of the Bolesławiec City Council, Forum Miasta).
The event was hosted by the city mayor Piotr Roman. Also present was Agnieszka Gergont, spokesperson for the Bolesławiec City Office, as well as Kamil Barczyk (director of St Luke’s Hospital in Bolesławiec, chairman of the Bolesławiec PSL and councillor of the Lower Silesian Regional Assembly).
Also present were Tomasz Gabrysiak (Bolesławiec county head), Piotr Borys (deputy minister of state at the Ministry of Sport and Tourism from Civic Platform), and Cezary Przybylski (deputy chair of the Lower Silesian Regional Assembly and the region’s long-serving marshal).
