The tradition of a “shopping frenzy” and stocking up—even when only one day off with the shops closed lies ahead—has been familiar here for a long time.

Stress, haste, the struggle for parking spaces in front of shops, baskets and trolleys full of products, traffic jams and queues at the checkout counters reveal our penchant for buying more than we need.

Whether necessary or not, the fridge has to be full. At most, some of the things bought will later end up in the bin.

What about you? Do you also like shopping in advance and taking part in this shopping frenzy?
