On June 20–22, 2025, a three-day Jehovah’s Witnesses convention under the theme “Pure Worship of God” will be held at PGE Turów Arena in Zgorzelec. It is one of 40 events in this worldwide series scheduled in Poland for this summer. Organizers expect around 3,000 participants to come to Zgorzelec, which, they emphasize, will provide a positive impulse for the local economy.
The program will include religious speeches, films and interviews, including:
- “What Does Jesus See in You?”
- “How Can We Imitate Those Who Loved Pure Worship?”
- “Do You Worship God With Knowledge?”
A baptism ceremony for new members is scheduled for Saturday. In addition, attendees will be able to watch further episodes of the film series “The Good News According to Jesus,” whose first episode was presented at the 2024 convention.
Jehovah’s Witnesses are an international religious community with more than 9 million members in 239 countries. In Poland, where they have been active since 1891, they currently have more than 115,000 members.
Admission to the convention is free, and the event is open to everyone interested. No collections of money will be held.
