At the end of 2024, the deputy declared PLN 264,650 in cash savings in Polish zlotys (marital co-ownership), an increase of more than PLN 110,000 compared with the previous year. Savings in euros are also new: 3,000 euros, which he had not previously declared.
The deputy’s real estate holdings include an apartment measuring 57 m² and worth PLN 400,000, as well as a 0.11-hectare plot of land valued at PLN 110,000 (the apartment and plot are marital co-ownership).
For serving his mandate in 2024, Szymon Pogoda received PLN 150,919 in a deputy’s salary and PLN 45,679 in parliamentary allowances.
Among his movable assets, the deputy once again listed two cars: a 2010 Nissan Qashqai (co-owned) and a 2019 Mazda CX-5.
His financial liabilities decreased: he still had to repay a PLN 25,000 loan from the Sejm social fund and a loan for the Mazda, with an outstanding balance of PLN 63,041.
Sejm website data also shows that Szymon Pogoda employs a 56-year-old woman who previously worked at a school founded by Tadeusz Rydzyk—Akademia Kultury Społecznej i Medialnej w Toruniu—and a 29-year-old from Legnica who is a PiS councillor on the Legnica City Council.
