Criminal investigators from the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters, during nighttime operational activities, caught two men red-handed. Headquarters:
After breaking into a building formerly used as a pigsty, located in the Warta Bolesławiecka municipality, the men attempted to steal cast-iron and aluminium components. They did not achieve their goal because they were surprised by police officers.
The detainees are a 36-year-old father and his 19-year-old son. They arrived at the crime scene in a car from Złotoryja County.
Further police findings led officers from the police station in Kruszyn to bring a second charge against the criminal pair. Officers: – The men had also come to Bolesławiec County the day before their arrest and, using a rope attached to the vehicle, attempted to pull down and steal a transformer.
The suspects face up to 10 years in prison. The older man had previously been convicted.
