The final of the 48th edition of the Olympiad of Agricultural Knowledge and Skills was held on 23–24 May 2025 at the Stanisław Staszic Agricultural Education Centre School Complex in Sejny (Podlaskie Voivodeship). The competition brought together the best students from across Poland, competing in eight subject categories—from crop production to agricultural mechanisation. The “landscape architecture” category, in which Nataliia competed, was among the most demanding.

This was not Nataliia’s first spectacular success. Two years earlier, in May 2023, during the 46th edition of the Olympiad of Agricultural Knowledge and Skills in Olsztyn, she took first place in the same category, achieving an impressive score of 118 out of 120 points.

– Nataliia is an exceptionally ambitious, hardworking and talented student. Her success is fully deserved and the result of systematic work – emphasises Anna Dudek, a vocational-subject teacher who prepared the student for the Olympiad. – Working with such a committed young person is a genuine pleasure and a source of pride.

Achieving second place in the central stage means that Nataliia received the title of laureate—a prestigious distinction associated with tangible educational benefits:

  • Exemption from the written part of the vocational examination with a score of 100%
  • The possibility of receiving an index for selected higher-education programmes without taking part in the admissions procedure
  • Additional points in the higher-education admissions process
  • Enriching the educational and professional portfolio with one of the most important distinctions available to a secondary-school student

Nataliia’s success is not only an individual achievement, but also a source of pride for the entire school community and the city of Bolesławiec. It shows that local schools educate young people to the highest standard, and that talented and hardworking students can compete with the best in the country.
