The incident occurred at the end of April, during a major renovation of the church in Radomice in Lwówek County. The matter was reported to the Jelenia Góra branch of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Conservator of Monuments. – It was found that the trench located directly next to the church wall contained a layer mixed with loose modern building material and bone material deposited in a secondary context – Tomasz Wrocławski of that branch explained to lwowecki.info Tomasz Wrocławski.

He added: – Due to the presence of bones in a late-modern and contemporary mixed layer, without anatomical arrangements, it is not possible to determine the age of the human bones.

The head of the DWKZ branch suspended the work until a permit to conduct archaeological research is obtained. Further findings will be possible after it is completed.
