Firefighters to Receive a New Vehicle, Ministry Grant Secured. Local Office: “This Is Just the Beginning!”

As reported by the Urząd Gminy i Miasta w Nowogrodźcu:

We are proud to announce that the Ochotnicza Straż Pożarna unit in Gierałtów will receive a modern rescue and firefighting vehicle! This has been made possible by a grant of 500 000 zł obtained from the Ministry of the Interior and Administration, as well as the Gmina Nowogrodziec’s own contribution of 700 000 zł.

The office adds: – This is not a coincidence, but the result of the systematic implementation of the OSP modernization program, which is being carried out with full commitment by the Mayor of Nowogrodziec, Joanna Świder. Thanks to this strategy, our municipality will already acquire another new firefighting vehicle in 2025, significantly strengthening the unit’s operational readiness and improving the safety of the entire local community

And this is just the beginning! Next year, plans are already in place to take steps toward securing funds for a new vehicle for OSP Czerna. Step by step, we are changing the face of the volunteer fire service in our municipality.
