The first person arrested was a 21-year-old man, who was charged with burglary and theft. The second suspect in the case is a 53-year-old fence, in whose cellar police officers secured items originating from the crime.

Police officers located part of the burglar’s loot in a wooded area near the crime scene, where the 21-year-old had hidden an item because of its large size. Property worth PLN 14,000 was recovered in total.

Burglary and theft is punishable by up to 10 years in prison, while receiving stolen goods is punishable by up to 5 years.
