Concerts marking the adoption of the 3 May Constitution, organized by the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre and the Municipal Office, did not attract a large audience. Around 150 people attended the Luxtorpeda concert, which began after 7:00 p.m. American soldiers and foreigners made up one-third of the audience. Bolesławiec residents did not turn out in large numbers. The music was admittedly hard-edged, but very good and superbly performed.

It did not rain before or during the concert. Cultural Centre director Kornel Filipowicz and Mayor Piotr Roman apparently missed the residents’ tastes with their choice of repertoire.
