The match between BKS Bobrzanie and Karkonosze Jelenia Góra scheduled for Saturday (19 March) (without away supporters) was cancelled. The match will be played at another date. The reason for the cancellation was poor weather conditions and the waterlogged pitch in Bolesławiec. BKS Bobrzanie’s senior team will therefore begin the competition in a week.
Friendly matches
During the preparation period, BKS played five friendly matches. All the practice matches were played away because there is no pitch in our town where matches can be played in winter conditions. The friendly-match results are listed below:
- BKS – Czarni Lwówek Śląski 10:1
- BKS – Chojnowianka Chojnów 2:1
- BKS – Zagłębie Lubin Młoda Ekstraklasa 1:5
- BKS – Sparta Grabik 3:1
- BKS – Chrobry Głogów 1:5
Squad for the new season and regulatory fees
BKS will play with a slightly changed squad in the spring season. Returning from loan are Krzysztof Janicki, Mateusz Mucha and Krzysztof Szymański. In the previous round, the first two players played for GKS Warta Bolesławiecka. Krzysztof Szymański, meanwhile, was a Ślęza Wrocław player. Club product Jakub Wołyński has also returned to BKS. Jakub is well known to the supporters. As player-manager of Twardy Świętoszów, he contributed to the success of his former team, which went from promotion to promotion and currently plays in the third league. BKS signed Przemysław Kotlarz. The player operates as a midfielder/defender. His last club was Polonia Świdnica. Jan Wojciechowski, who returned to Bolesławiec from Chrobry Głogów, will also play for BKS. Bartosz Bochnia became BKS’s second goalkeeper. Piotr Bryłkowski will also be in the first team.
Long-serving goalkeeper Marek Przykłota has left BKS and will probably also end his active football career. Sebastian Łokaj will replace Marek in goal. Tomasz Jasiński will also probably end his football career. The following players returned to their clubs from loan: Łukasz Polański and Sebastian Gogut. Łukasz Polański’s involvement with Konfeks Legnica is uncertain, however. On 14 March, in the village of Rokitki, the footballer was involved in a car accident. Łukasz was taken to a hospital in Legnica in serious condition. He faces major head surgery. Robert Gajewski returned from BKS to Prochowiczanka Prochowice, while Błażej Rajchel was loaned to GKS Warta Bolesławiecka. The appearances of Wojciech Dzioba and Marcin Głowacki are uncertain. The former has stopped training, while the latter was involved in an accident (damaged vertebrae) and is in hospital.
Before the spring season, the club had considerable expenses. BKS had to pay around PLN 4,000 into the DZPN fund for regulatory fees related to players’ returns to their parent club. For example, Jan Wojciechowski’s return from Chrobry Głogów cost the club PLN 1,100, while Jakub Wołyński’s return cost PLN 1,300. We remind you that anyone who wants to help the club can donate 1% of their tax. Details are available on the club’s website. The link is below the information.
