On this street, next to the plots, there is a place that looks like a car park (although there are no designated parking spaces there). Two B-36 signs have been installed beside it, indicating a no-stopping prohibition.
Additionally, T-26 plates beneath the signs indicate that the no-stopping prohibition applies to the entire designated area.
Drivers obeying the signs do not stop or park in this place. They leave their cars on the adjacent pavements. However, they ask why this area was designated and covered by the prohibition.
We asked the city office about this. Here is the response from spokesperson Agnieszka Gergont::
On the indicated section of Jagiellonów Street, due to its dead-end layout, an area for vehicles to turn around has been created. It is not a car park. Therefore, parking is prohibited there. The turning area allows vehicles to turn around safely, avoiding reversing onto the main road, which reduces the risk of collisions. Drivers do not have to reverse onto the main street and look for a place to turn around, which is particularly important on narrow or congested streets.
