The incident occurred on April 26, at around 9:40 a.m., on the A4 at kilometer 108, in the direction of Zgorzelec, near the Wądroże Wielkie exit. Firefighters:

Numerous emergency services from Jawor, Legnica and Strzegom were immediately dispatched to the scene, along with the Polish Medical Air Rescue service—Rescuer 13 from Wrocław. Upon arrival, it was established that eight passenger vehicles had collided, carrying a total of 24 people.

They added: – During the initial phase, the emergency services focused on carrying out triage of the incident participants in order to assign them appropriate emergency priorities.

Seven people were injured, one of whom was transported to hospital by helicopter.

Police are determining the causes and circumstances of the incident. Officers are appealing for caution and sound judgment on the road.
