This year’s opening of the salt graduation tower in the municipal park on Głowackiego Street will be delayed. The reason? It turned out that young blackbirds had taken up residence in the tower’s wooden structure and chosen the site for their nest.
Przedsiębiorstwo Wodociągów i Kanalizacji Dolina Bobru reports that the opening date of the salt graduation tower will depend strictly on when the young blackbirds are ready to live independently.
It is worth recalling that the period from the hatching of the chicks to their first flight lasts approximately two weeks, after which the birds are still fed by their parents for another month.
