On Wednesday (9 March), a surveying laboratory was opened at the Construction School Complex. The laboratory is equipped with modern equipment, including total stations (devices that measure distance, angle and height). This is not the end of the investment in ZSB. Modern plotters will also be delivered to the school by the end of this year. – We bought some of the equipment last year. We spent several tens of thousands of złotys – says Dariusz Kwaśniewski, Permanent Member of the Board of Bolesławiec County. Dariusz Kwaśniewski assures that ZSB will receive further equipment worth more than one million złotys. This is part of the money that Bolesławiec County obtained to finance teaching equipment for schools.
Thanks to money from the county, students of the surveying technical school will learn their profession using modern equipment. – We have been recruiting students for the surveying technical school for three years – says Jacek Jurkiewicz, director of ZSB. According to the director, the surveying profession offers good prospects. In addition to professional satisfaction, it also provides financial satisfaction. The surveying laboratory is not the only new feature that ZSB can boast about. A new room for aerobics and table tennis was also opened on Wednesday. The room was also equipped with money obtained by the county. Both rooms are located in the attic of the ZSB building. The school’s students renovated the rooms. The money for purchasing building materials was obtained from sponsors.
