As reported by the Provincial Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Kielce:
With deep sorrow, we inform you that on 18 March 2025, at the Training Centre of the Provincial Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Kielce, during a routine test in a smoke chamber intended for State Fire Service firefighters directly involved in rescue operations, one of the rescuers became unwell. Despite immediate and prolonged cardiopulmonary resuscitation, the doctor present at the scene pronounced the firefighter dead.
It added:
The Świętokrzyskie firefighters share the pain and grief of the family and loved ones of our deceased colleague. We offer our deepest condolences and support during these difficult moments.
