The incident occurred on 17 March. Firefighters:
(…) at around 4:40 a.m., the Jawor firefighters received a report of a road accident involving three heavy goods vehicles on the A4 motorway, at kilometre 113 in the direction of Wrocław.
While en route, the firefighters received information that a driver was trapped in one of the vehicles. The officers: – The cab of one of the vehicles was seriously damaged, which made it difficult to reach the injured person and evacuate him safely.
Using hydraulic tools, the rescuers pulled the driver out and handed him over to the emergency medical team. The injured man was taken to hospital.
The firefighters sum up: – Thanks to the swift and efficient action of the emergency services, the injured man was quickly placed in the care of the emergency medical team.
Police are determining the causes and circumstances of the incident.
