Jolanta Ajlikow-Czarnecka was an artist, a longtime educator and, above all, a mentor to many well-known Bolesławiec residents. She was an exceptional figure, with her own atmosphere and history, woven into the character of our city. She had her own legend. Listening to her life was like listening to a novel. She was the one who insisted that everyone “perceives art according to what they can afford,” and therefore everyone has the life, everyday existence and space beyond it that they can afford.
