Participants completed a general knowledge test on painting, sculpture and architecture, tackled questions about the region’s historic monuments, and tested their ability to identify objects based on photographs.
Among primary school students, first place went to Krzysztof Ostrowski (Primary School in Kruszyn), second place to Paweł Herdzik (Primary School in Nowogrodziec), and third place was awarded to Szymonowi Biegale (Primary School in Kruszyn). Commendations went to: Justyna Maksymowicz (Primary School in Nowogrodziec) and Kinga Jasińska (Primary School in Kruszyn). The students from the Primary School in Kruszyn were prepared for the competition by Joanna Czaplicka, while the children from the Primary School in Nowogrodziec were prepared by Renata Dziuba.
In the lower-secondary school category, the winner was Julia Suchecka from the 1st Private Lower-Secondary School in Bolesławiec, mentored by Katarzyna Żak. Second place went to Paulina Owerko, and third place to Julia Fulczyńska, students of Municipal Lower-Secondary School No. 4 in Bolesławiec, prepared by Dorota Dobies. Commendations were awarded to Adrianowi Pacynie (Municipal Lower-Secondary School No. 1 in Bolesławiec, supervisor Katarzyna Syguła-Wieczorek) and Łukaszowi Sawickiemu (2nd Private Lower-Secondary School in Bolesławiec, supervisor Barbara Bednarowicz).
All Tournament participants received gifts prepared by the Museum of Ceramics, while the winners and the supervisors who prepared the students for the competition received books. Congratulations to all the winners!
The Kliczków Castle Conference and Recreation Center supported the organization of the Tournament by providing the representative Court Hall free of charge for the event and enabling all participants to tour the Castle with a guide.
The organizers of the District Art Knowledge Tournament were: the Museum of Ceramics in Bolesławiec, the District Center for Education and Staff Training, and Municipal Lower-Secondary School No. 3.
