Young runners from the Uczniowski Klub Sportowy "Tukan" in Iwiny took part in the Lubin Grand Prix running series. This time, the series began in an unusual way—with a run organized in Iwiny called Spacerek z Orkiestrą. The subsequent stages took place in Lubin. More than 400 people took part in the competition in total.
The youth categories were dominated by competitors from Iwiny. In the M-16 category, Krzysztof Wieczorek won ahead of Bartek Szeliga and Marcin Wieczorek. In the M-20 category, Marek Wojnowicz proved to be the best. His younger brother, Mariusz, took second place. Wojtek Pachnik finished third in the open category.
The entire podium in the women's open category went to competitors from Iwiny. Małgorzata Szeliga won ahead of Angelika Haniszewska and Dominika Burdyna. It was similar in the K-16 category. Dominika Kanikowska was the best, Ola Pilarska took second place, and Paulina Rygiel came third.
The youngest classified participant in the event was the not-quite-eight-year-old Staś Pachnik, who covered the 4.5 km distance in 26:11.
