The incident occurred on 6 March. At 5:15 p.m., firefighters from Tomaszów Bolesławiecki were dispatched to Szczytnica, where approximately 4 ares of grass burned.

  • High temperatures and low humidity promote the rapid spread of fire.
  • Wet grass can slow the fire down or even stop it.
  • Burning grass is prohibited and carries severe penalties!
