On Thursday, February 27, elections for a new president were held at the Bolesławiec PCK. The incumbent president, Zbigniew Herbut, was replaced by Przemysław Godek. Antoni Obleszczuk became vice president, while Roman Bodak became a member of the board.
Immediately after being elected, the new president thanked everyone for their support:
(...) It is an honor and a source of pride for me. I would like to thank everyone who trusted me and entrusted me with this position. Thank you for your support, trust and faith. For the fact that, together, we can continue the work that, for generations, has been changing thousands of people for the better (...).

The new PCK president Przemysław Godek is 50 years old. Born and living in Bolesławiec, he is a hairdresser by profession. He also owns a hair salon. In Bolesławiec, he is a well-known social activist and animal lover. His passions are traveling and visiting interesting places around the world.
