On Monday, February 28, the county chess championships were held at the headquarters of BKS Bobrzanie. Competitors competed in three age categories. In the primary school category, the team from Primary School No. 4 won (comprising: Kacper Grela, Maria Koplin, Michał Józków and Pola Juchaniuk). The team from Primary School No. 3 took second place, while the representation of the primary school in Czerna came third.
Among middle school students, the chess players from Middle School No. 3 proved the best (Mikołaj Ziętek, Jakub Feret, Aleksander Kinach and Patrycja Eichstadt). The team from I PG came second, while the team from Wykrot came third.
In the upper-secondary school category, representatives of the General and Vocational Schools Complex won (Dariusz Kulesza, Mariusz Szweda, Jan Matkowski and Elwira Kupisz). The team from II LO took second place, and the team from the “mechanical school” came third. The competition was organized by the Inter-School Sports Centre, which operates within the County Centre for Education and Staff Training.
