Last Sunday, a ceremony was held at the Lower Silesian Sports Centre in Jakuszyce, during which Bolesławiec residents, Mr and Mrs Basia and Benek Ostrowski, received a commemorative statuette from a group of grateful residents of the City of Ceramics. The occasion for the thanks was a trip organised by Mariola Starościak. The entire group went cross-country skiing (on so-called touring skis).
The commemorative statuette was given to thank Mr and Mrs Ostrowski for their activities: for 22 years, they organised trips for cross-country skiing, kayaking and cycling. They also organised other excursions, for example to the theatre.
They were sung Sto lat and commemorative photographs were taken.
