During the January session of the Bolesławiec City Council, Piotr Roman, while presenting councillors with a report on the most important actions taken during the period between sessions, mentioned that tax decisions were being delivered to residents’ homes at that very time. He shared the following reflection with the Council:

We cannot rely on Poczta Polska here. We apologise to everyone – but, ladies and gentlemen, we really do send invitations to certain ceremonies, for example, a month and a half in advance. And people tell me around town that they receive them, for example, two weeks after the event.

He added: – As a result, we will send them even further in advance, but that is not always possible. It is difficult to send something from Bolesławiec to Bolesławiec two months in advance, while it is also not always possible to arrange a courier service or deliver the invitation in some other way.
