The new regulations are intended to reduce the amount of textiles sent to landfills, increase recycling and promote the reuse of clothing.
The change does not require residents to have new containers or bags.
Publicly accessible, clearly marked containers for clothing and textiles have been placed throughout our city. This type of waste is also accepted at the Selective Municipal Waste Collection Point, located at 6 S. Staszica Street in Bolesławiec,
Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The following can be taken to the containers or to the PSZOK:
- clothing,
- household textiles (e.g. towels, tablecloths, curtains, net curtains, bed linen, blankets, bedspreads, kitchen cloths, etc.).
Attached is a list of the locations of 57 clothing containers.

Remember!
From January 2025, clothing and textiles may not be thrown into bins for mixed waste. If clothing and textiles are not damaged, they can be given to people in need. This way, items lying unused in your wardrobe can be useful to someone.
