I warmly invite everyone to watch this extraordinary time capsule! You will see what Santa’s visit looked like in #bolesławiec in 1987.
There is the market square, the old PKS bus station and Jana Pawła 2 Street, along with the church that was still under construction at the time. Although the footage is long, it is worth watching in its entirety.
I obtained the recording from my grandfather, Henryk Nawrot—I sincerely thank him for it.
It is my grandfather who is driving the horse-drawn carriage he built himself, from which presents were handed out. He had several of them; for example, one white carriage could sometimes be seen at weddings.
This interesting camper at the very beginning was also made by him—he built it on the basis of the Żuk, which was popular at the time.
