Police have arrested a 19-year-old suspected of breaking into a car and attempting to steal another vehicle. The incident occurred during the night of February 8–9 this year. The man entered the premises of one of the construction companies in Bolesławiec, broke into a room where car keys were kept, and then stole a vehicle worth nearly PLN 30,000.
He hid the car in the back area of one of the city’s streets. He then returned to the company premises and tried to steal another car, this time worth PLN 50,000. The theft was unsuccessful because the 19-year-old could not start the vehicle.
Officers recovered the stolen property. The suspect faces up to 10 years in prison.
