On 14 December, 83 soldiers serving in Voluntary Basic Military Service took the military oath on the regiment’s colours.
Colonel Rafał Grzywiński emphasised:
An oath is not only a ceremony and not only words. Above all, it is an act of allegiance, an expression of your patriotism and your greatest commitment to the Homeland and the Polish Nation.
After taking the oath, the soldiers who achieved the best results during training stepped forward from the formation. The commander, accompanied by Chojnów Mayor Jan Serkies, presented letters of congratulations and congratulated the distinguished soldiers and their families. On behalf of herself and her fellow soldiers, Private Klaudia Kuraś expressed her thanks to the command staff.
The final element of the ceremony was the Representative Song of the Polish Armed Forces, followed by a parade of the subunits.
