The project aims to rebuild an 80-metre section of the road, which was completely destroyed along with the pavement structure and road embankments. The works will include reconstructing the road structure and its associated elements, such as verges and slopes.
The scope of work to be carried out by the contractor includes reconstructing the road embankments, constructing a concrete stabilisation layer and bituminous sub-base, and laying binder and wearing courses made of asphalt-mineral mixture.
Additionally, the embankment slopes will be reinforced with stone riprap on geotextile, while the verges will be made of crushed aggregate.
The contractor for the project will be Przedsiębiorstwo Konserwacji Urządzeń Wodnych i Melioracyjnych „MELIOBUD” SP. z o. o., headquartered at 42 Lubańska Street, 59-730 Nowogrodziec. The contract value is PLN 499,380.00.
The contract is scheduled to be signed on 19 December 2024, while the project completion period, due to the winter season, has been set at five months from the date of signing the contract.
The contractor assured that the company would make every effort to complete the works as quickly as possible so that residents could use the rebuilt road again.
