The criminals claim that the authorities have allegedly “seized the computer” because, among other things, child pornography was detected on it. They also threaten that the person will be registered as a sex offender and that “the case will be broadcast on several television channels.” This is a scam!
Do not respond to such messages or provide unknown individuals with our personal data, information enabling remote access to a bank account, BLIK codes, credit card details, cryptocurrencies or cash. In addition, do not click on suspicious links or scan unknown QR codes, particularly those sent by email.
If we receive this type of message, it is certainly an attempted scam. Exercise increased caution!
