Olgierd Hoffman, president of H&S Construction, is the investor and owner of the plot on which the Stara Mleczarnia retail park was built. Since 2019, stores such as Jysk, Media Expert, Martes Sport and Polo Market.
In 2021, following the introduction of a paid parking zone in the city, some retail parks, including Stara Mleczarnia, introduced paid parking lots. The parking lot at Stara Mleczarnia is managed by ATPark from Jaworzno. Parking there is free for one hour.
Since the parking lot became paid, our editorial office has received many reports about fines being issued there to drivers who still had valid parking tickets. More on this in the article He parked by the shopping center and immediately took a ticket. Yet he still got a fine. What happened?
Below is another story sent to our editorial office. This time, ONE DIGIT was missing from the parking ticket.
A reader wrote to us:
I would like to warn everyone about the parking lot at Stara Mleczarnia. On December 9, I printed a parking ticket. When I returned from shopping, I noticed a fine for not having a valid ticket. The ticket was valid until 11:46. I was fined for not having a valid ticket at 11:12. The problem was that the parking ticket had been printed, but one digit was missing from the end of the registration number. My registration number is DBL 9FJ5. But the printed ticket showed only DBL 9FJ. I am a person with a disability, a cancer survivor, and the company managing the parking lot rejected my complaint.
We contacted ATPark about the matter, but based on their previous responses, we do not expect the company from Jaworzno, despite claiming that it “always takes action guided by the ‘pro-client’ principle,” to take the matter seriously and influence the enforcement officers to adopt a human approach to customers when issuing fines.
We asked whether ATPark considered the situation described below to be a pro-client action. When we receive a response from ATPark, we will publish it immediately.
