The District Building Supervision Inspector in Bolesławiec ordered the demolition of the footbridge because its poor technical condition posed a threat to human life and health.
The demolition works will continue until the end of the year. The contractor is Przedsiębiorstwo Usługowo-Handlowe M&M from Bolesławiec. The cost of the works is PLN 196,400. The funds come from the budget of the City of Bolesławiec. After the pedestrian bridge is demolished, design work will be carried out, followed by the construction of a new structure.
