The Jehovah’s Witnesses’ congregation building was built in the Piastów housing estate in Bolesławiec. Construction began in June 2024. The Kingdom Hall has two rooms, a larger and a smaller one, with the former seating 150 people and the latter 20. There are comfortable restrooms, including facilities for people with disabilities. The entire building is air-conditioned, and it is heated by a heat pump. The walls are in subdued beige colors, without paintings or other decorations. It is a very cozy interior. There is also a large parking lot next to the building. The building will not be rented out; it will serve as a meeting place for Jehovah’s Witnesses’ religious gatherings.
– On Friday, November 22, there will be an open day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for all residents of Bolesławiec and the surrounding area who would like to see the results of our volunteers’ work and perhaps learn more about the Jehovah’s Witnesses community – says Zbigniew Malarski, regional spokesperson for Jehovah’s Witnesses.
The location of the Kingdom Hall near Biedronka, the Bolesławianka Housing Cooperative and the Catholic church on Jana Pawła II Street may provide an opportunity for residents of Bolesławiec to interact with one another. It may also serve as an impetus for dialogue between different religious groups.
