A reader sent us a photo with the caption:

Traffic jam from Bolesławiec to the A4.

This is the aftermath of the tragic pile-up on the A4, in which as many as seven vehicles collided. One person died and another was taken to hospital.

Traffic disruptions:

• DW297 is congested from the A4 (the Łąka interchange) towards Bolesławiec,
• DK94 is congested from Brzeźnik towards Bolesławiec, as is the Bolesławiec bypass (DK94),
• traffic jams are also forming on DK94, from Bolesławiec through Kruszyn and Tomaszów Bolesławiecki, towards Okmiany.

The emergency services appeal for caution and prudence on the road.
