The incident took place on 19 November. During work on the premises of the Wojewódzki Szpital dla Nerwowo i Psychicznie Chorych in Bolesławiec, two items of unexploded ordnance were unearthed.
The dangerous find was dealt with by bomb-disposal specialists from the 23 Śląski Pułk Artylerii in Bolesławiec.
Fortunately, no one was injured. Evacuating the patients and staff was not necessary.
