Młodzieżowy Dom Kultury invites aspiring artists to a sculpture course preparing them for entrance examinations to art universities. The programme includes sculpture, drawing, painting, art history, critiques of students’ work and assistance in compiling the works presented to the examination committee.
The classes will be taught by Czesław Matyjewicz. A Bolesławiec artist who for years ran the art studio at Bolesławiecki Ośrodek Kultury, he has served as commissioner of sculpture plein-air workshops and participated in International Ceramic and Sculpture Plein-Air Workshops. Czesław Matyjewicz is an exceptional person: an artist with great sculptural and teaching talent. He has educated many young people, teaching them useful techniques and inspiring in them the joy of creating, without which there is no art.
